Summary TDA has expanded the Jamaica Beach Quarantined Area and established Kemah quarantine area, effective June 10, 2026. The quarantine areas are within Galveston County.Quarantine areas are drawn so as to include an area approx. 2 miles in all directions around each lat-long location wherea an infected tree has been found.
