Summary TDA has expanded the Lethal Bronzing of Palms Quarantine Area in Jamiaca Beach & Galveston island, w.e.f 08/21/2026. The quarantine areas are within Galveston County.Quarantine areas are drawn so as to include an area approx. 2 miles in all directions around each lat-long location wherea an infected tree has been found.
