Summary On August 25, 2026 TDA has modified the Rancho Viejo / Los Fresnos Citrus Canker Quarantined Area in response to the recent confirmed detections of the citrus canker disease. This quarantined area is within Cameron County and has expanded to 152.44 square miles which includes 118.78 acres of quarantined commercial citrus.
